Unfortunately the Android system doesn't allow to share the VPN through the WiFi tethering.

On Google you can find some workaround, but all of them require the root access.

This app is designed to work without the root access, so is not possible to add this feature.

Most probably the reported error happen between the connectivity change and the VPN restart, so you can ignore it.
