Since the screen of my android phone shattered I had to purchase a new android phone.
I transferred everything using Samsung Smart Switch.
Everything else (licensed apps) transferred without problems but VPN client license did not.
What can I do?

the licenses are linked to the Google account. Licenses are restored automatically when the device is set up with the same account used for purchase.
In case of problems, you can try clearing the Google Play app data and restarting the device.
