Can't purchase

I have attempted purchase of a subscription at least a dozen times with different account on a new google tv chromecast.

All attempts fail, even with different google accounts.

Is there something going on? Since I was able to purchase a subscription in the past without issue.

This is for my aunt and uncle. First I setup the device on her account however I keep receiving an error saying the account was not secure, even though I ensured the account is very secure.

Then I created and entirely new account and secured it completely. When I attempt the purchase with this account it says I need to choose a different payment method, yet I've tried 4 different cards that all work fine.

I am at a loss as to how to get you app on their device. I even tried purchasing the app for my own account and that worked just fine. However it doesn't solve my issue.

Is there another way I can pay so it works with the new account?

Google just got back to me and said it's them not allowing the purchase. Insanity.

Two different accounts with valid credit cards could not make the purchase.

They said they are reviewing the situation will advise me in a few hours.

For such a small purchase they really go over the top with "security" which seems to only cause inconvenience.

I'm sorry but licenses can only be purchased on Google Play, so you have to wait for Google to fix the issues with your account.
