Okay - I've been trying to get following Auto Connect config to work, but I am not sure its possible with the exisiting settings:

(1) Auto connect whenever on mobile data
(2) Auto connect whenever on Wi-Fi *EXCEPT* when connect the following Wi-Fi SSIDs. If connected to these, turn the connection off:
- Home SSID
- Work SSID

It seems that because mobile data is always available VPN Client Pro wants to remain connected even though Wi-Fi is being used at one of my designated "safe" SSIDs.

Is there any way to get this to work?

Please try to follow these steps:

edit the VPN profile

tap on "Auto connect"

select "Connect when the mobile connectivity is up"

select "Connect when the WiFi is connected but not to these SSID" and put your home/work SSID

select "Disconnect when the WiFi is down or SSID is not allowed

save the changes
