This Privacy Policy describes how Fwknop Client handles your data. Our priority is your privacy and the security of your network configurations.

1. Our "No-Logs" Commitment

Fwknop Client is built with a "Privacy by Design" philosophy. We do not collect, store, or log any of your network traffic, browsing history, or DNS queries.

No browsing history logged.

No original IP address stored.

No connection timestamps.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

All configuration settings are stored exclusively on your local device.

  • AES-GCM Encryption: Your settings are saved on your device in an AES-GCM encrypted format.
  • Biometric Protection: Configurations can be further protected with password and biometric authentication (Fingerprint or Face Recognition).
  • No Cloud Recovery: We do not have access to these files. If you delete the app or lose your device, we cannot recover your configurations.

3. Permissions Explained

Camera

Required strictly for scanning QR Codes to import keys. Used only during the scanning process.

4. No Data Sharing

The app does not collect or share any user data with third parties. We do not sell, trade, or share any personal information. There is no user database to share because we don't collect your data in the first place.

5. Third-Party Services

Google Play Store: As the app is distributed via Google Play, Google may collect basic anonymized telemetry related to app crashes or installs.
