Hi there,
I'm using VPN Client Pro on my Android device, and I had a question about VPN tethering.
I'd like to share my phone’s VPN connection with a device that's tethered to it (specifically my laptop). I connect my laptop via mobile hotspot, and I want all traffic from the laptop to go through the VPN tunnel running on the phone.
Right now, I have VPN Client Pro working perfectly on the phone itself, but when I tether, my laptop's traffic seems to bypass the VPN and just go through the regular mobile network.
Is there a way to configure VPN Client Pro so that the VPN tunnel also covers tethered devices?
Here are some more details about my setup:
I'm using OpenVPN.
My phone is not rooted.
Android version: 15
VPN Client Pro version: 1.02.12
If there's a setting I need to enable (like NAT or IP forwarding), or if this requires root or a certain VPN type, I'd really appreciate your guidance.
Thanks for an awesome app — looking forward to your advice!

Re: Question About Sharing VPN Tunnel Over Tethering
Hello,
Thanks for using the app.
I'm sorry, but Android doesn't allow sharing the VPN with tethered devices.
You can read the topic Share VPN connection throught hotspot that addresses the same issue, but I'll warn you that I've never tried any of the suggested solutions.
